This paper assessed the pattern of teacher’s interactions in the teaching and learning process. It discussed the interactions involving teacher – student and teacher – teacher based on the related literature. It was discovered that the pattern of teacher- student interaction in the classroom was mostly talking and that teacher did most of the talking at both secondary and tertiary levels.
