This study examined the effect of pictures supported with audio taped instruction on students’ achievement in selected History contents. Students taught using pictures supported with audio-taped instruction were compared with their counterparts taught conventionally, to ascertain whether differences exist in their mean achievement scores. A simple random sampling technique was used to draw two intact classes of SSI history students from two co-educational schools and randomly assigned to the experimental and control groups.
