Ẹdo language is the mother tongue of most of the children in Ẹdo South Senatorial district of Ẹdo State. It is also the first language of the immediate linguistic environment of the Ẹdo child. By induction therefore, Ẹdo, though a minority language, is the main indigenous language of the immediate multi-lingual Ẹdo society. Though the language is not used as a medium of instruction at the pre- primary and primary school levels (like in the western and northern parts of Nigeria) in the state, it is taught as a subject to the pupils.

The cross-sectional survey was an assessment of the value placed on clothing accessories as perceived by women in different works of life in the Abuja Federal Capital Territory, particularly when they are segregated according to age, socio-economic status and educational qualifications. Five research questions were formulated to guide the study. A sample size of 350 women was randomly selected to react to a 13- item researcher-constructed structured rating scale with 0.82 index of logical validity and 0.79 coefficient of internal consistency.

The study focused on the entrepreneurial skills required by College of Education Home Economics Students for self-employment. Specifically, the study aimed at finding out the extent the students applied the knowledge they acquired for self-employment and the extent the students perceived instructional methods adequate for providing entrepreneurial skills for self-employment. The population comprise all the Home Economics Students from two Government owned Colleges of Education in Lagos State.

This study was conducted to determine the maternal employment and its impact on the academic performance of the first year vocational students of Government Science and Technical College (GSTC) in Ijebu Ode Local Government of Ogun State, Nigeria. Two research questions and two hypotheses were formulated to guide the study. A descriptive survey design was adopted by the study. The population of the study was the first year students of the GSTC, Ijebu Ode, Ogun State. Purposive sampling was used since all the students were used for the study.

On the basis that the manpower dividend will be enjoyed by the economy, successive governments in Nigeria have invested on education, yet over the years, the economy has not been able to absorb majority of its output. What could be termed `unemployment’ has now reached a level where parents, government, institutions’ administrators and other education stakeholders are worried. In this paper, the issue of unemployment of majority of outputs from the educational system in Nigeria is examined, with particular focus on its causes and consequences.

Literacy goes far beyond the ability to read, write and do simple calculation. Literacy is an instrument for acquiring relevant knowledge and skills required for development in contemporary society so as to improve efficiency and productivity. This implies that people cannot acquire information required for their survival without literacy especially in the context of globalization. In essence, literacy is a tool for social, economic and political development of citizens.

The integration of technologies into the Montessori education system has been one of the most popular issues amongst Montessori practitioners since the turn of the 20th Century. The bone of contention has remained the fact that in the time the method was developed, there were no learning technologies. Thus, many stakeholders fear that the introduction of ICT into the Montessori methodology can imminently diminish the method.

This study was carried out to investigate whether age and educational qualification has any influence on workplace stress among civil servants or not. The researcher sampled 200 civil servants in Ilorin metropolis in order to gather their sources of work place stress. A researcher designed instrument tagged “Influence of Age and Educational Qualifications on Workplace Stress Questionnaire” (IAEQWS) was used to elicit civil servants influence of age and educational qualification on workplace stress.
