The cross-sectional survey was an assessment of the value placed on clothing accessories as perceived by women in different works of life in the Abuja Federal Capital Territory, particularly when they are segregated according to age, socio-economic status and educational qualifications. Five research questions were formulated to guide the study. A sample size of 350 women was randomly selected to react to a 13- item researcher-constructed structured rating scale with 0.82 index of logical validity and 0.79 coefficient of internal consistency.
