This research work examined the influence of self efficacy on the academic achievements of students in their various choice of degree programme, its effect on their commitment in class attendance and academic performance generally. The researcher used pre-experimental design also known as “no control” experimental design in this study, the population comprise of three thousand (3,000) undergraduate students 2009/2010 academic session in Ambrose Alli University Ekpoma, out of which five hundred (500) students were randomly selected for this study.
