The purpose of this study was to determine the prevalence of obesity among residence in Benin City metropolis. Specifically the study determined, eating style, types of diet consumed majorly. The study was carried out in Benin City, Nigeria; Population for the study comprised 1,147,188 people in Benin City metropolis. A convenient sampling technique was used to select 600 residences for the study. The instrument for data collection was structured questionnaire. Frequencies and percentages were used for data analysis.

The function of vocational guidance services in primary schools in Yaba Local Government Area depends on its application. Guidance is the process whereby an individual is helped to understand himself. The problem in guidance services is that of the complexity of guidance services, equipment and lack of adequate knowledge in the handling of testing instruments in one hand and none availability of these instruments for most students in the other hand. Teacher education programme can remedy any negative effect.

The study investigated technical teachers’ perception and readiness for e-leaning instructional delivery in technical schools in Niger state. The study employed a survey research design. The sample for the study comprised one hundred technical teachers. An instrument tagged e-learning technical teachers’ perception and readiness questionnaire (ELETPRQ) was used for the study. The internal consistency of the instrument was established using Cronbach Alpha which yielded a reliability of 0.82. Four hypotheses were postulated for the study.

This paper is centred on the relevance of indigenous technology education in Nigeria as panacea for unemployment and national development. It focuses on the need for top quality hands-on practical skills training for middle level man power in the areas of primary and intermediate technology. This will facilitate national technology process, socio-economic welfare and create job opportunities.

This study was carried out to provide insight into the role of recreational exercise in the promotion of healthy aging. Aging is seen as accumulation of changes overtime, a process of physical, psychological and social change. It has been observed that healthy aging can be promoted through exercises by reducing mortality, prevent age-related functional impairment and also help in preventing and treating specific conditions. It was therefore recommended that exercise helps to relieve a wide range of health problems, mental, physical, social, emotional, and psychological.

Ẹdo language is the mother tongue of most of the children in Ẹdo South Senatorial district of Ẹdo State. It is also the first language of the immediate linguistic environment of the Ẹdo child. By induction therefore, Ẹdo, though a minority language, is the main indigenous language of the immediate multi-lingual Ẹdo society. Though the language is not used as a medium of instruction at the pre- primary and primary school levels (like in the western and northern parts of Nigeria) in the state, it is taught as a subject to the pupils.

A sample size of 350 women was randomly selected to react to a 13- item researcher-constructed structured rating scale with 0.82 index of logical validity and 0.79 coefficient of internal consistency.
